Voters in McLean County decided to eliminate the position of Recorder of Deeds. Those duties will be handled by the County Clerk's office after about a year of transition. In Normal, voters approved the electricity aggregation effort that was defeated in the spring. A similar measure passed in the Village of Heyworth. Michelle Anderson won reelection as County Auditor, easily turning back a challenge from Green Party opponent Benjamin Pettie.
