Bruiser the Red Wolf has done his job at the Miller Park Zoo and is heading off to more fertile pastures. Zoo officials say after siring pups three years running, Bruiser is being sent to another location to diversify the breeding pool. The zoo in Bloomingtonis part of the species restoration program for red wolves, which once had only 14 members of the species left. Now there are about 79 and the zoo program has reintroduced some of the animals to the wild. Bruiser leaves for his next stop November 6th. Five wolves remain in the habitat in Miller Park..
