The father of the 14-year old boy who allegedly fired shots at Normal Community High School last month has been charged in connection with the incident. Police in Normal have arrested 43-year old Rodney Kinder of Bloomington. They allege Kinder provided or allowed access to the firearms used by the student in the shooting. The boy faces criminal charges for using or possessing three handguns, a hatchet and knives in the September 7th attack. He faces sixteen charges in connection with the incident.
