Cooler weather means raking leaves, making ''smores in the fireplace, and for some, bone chilling conditions. That's why the Salvation Army in Bloomington is again making coats available for area residents. Steve Schroeder says they already have coats ready for distribution at the Salvation Army Headquarters at 611 West Washington Street, but could use more:
Schroeder says a lot of people donate coats for teens and children, but sometimes don't think of coats for grownups. Donations can be deposited at the coat collection boxes throughout the twin cities.
