Bloomington has been recognized as a nice place to live where you don't have to drive very far to get to work. CNN Money ranks Bloomington 20th among top cities with short commutes. The Best Places to live list was also culled for cities with high crime rates, poverty rates, poor education systems, and retirement communities. Once cities with negative factors were weeded out, the rest were ranked in various sectors.
