Nathan departs cancer center to head up retirement community The founding director of the Community Cancer Center in Normal is leaving the post to take a cross-town position. Barb Nathan, who has served as the center's executive director since it was organized more than a decade ago, has resigned to take the same position at Westminster Village, Bloomington's retirement care community. Nathan previously worked in administration at BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, and will be succeeded at the cancer center by interim director Roger Hunt, who formerly led Advocate BroMenn. Currently, the Community Cancer Center is in the midst of a $10 million dollar expansion project. It opened on East Vernon in Normal in 1999. Nathan takes over at Westminster for Ruth Ann Fraker, who had been serving as interim director there.
