Daughter of prison inmate brings show to central IL
Ashley Lucas is an Assistant Professor of Dramatic Art at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She's also the daughter of an imprisoned father. It was that combination that compelled her to create a one woman show she's bringing to central Illinois this week. WGLT's Jim Browne talked with Lucas.

Lucas is bringing her show, "Doin' Time: Through the Visiting Glass," to ISU's Westhoff Theatre Wednesday evening at 7:30. Her performance, which is free, is sponsored by ISU school of Theatre and Dance.

Ashley Lucas talks about a group she belongs to at UNC that seeks to bring new students into the performing arts.
