Town Council members will have to trim the list of possible park improvement projects. Town staff have recomended a menu of seven projects with a combined price tag of more than $900,000. A state Illinois Jobs Now grant totals only a half million dollars. On the list are such items as an extension of the Constitution Trail near Eagles Landing, Shepard Park ball diamond lighting, Shepard Park and Ironwood Park and Neighborhood trail extensions, and playground equipment for Maxwell and Ironwood Park.
