The Bloomington Police Department computer crimes unit is getting praise from the U-S Attorney's office for helping indict a Washington, Illinois man on child pornography charges. Bloomington Police provided technical expertise that lead to the arrest of 49-year old Scott Bell. Bell is accused of one count of receiving child pornography on his computer. The Secret Service and the Washington, Illinois Police Department were also involved in the investigation.
