Bloomington Police are investigating a bank robbery of the PNC branch on West Market Street. There are no injuries reported. The Suspect is described as a white male in his fifties blondish hair, about five feet ten inches and wearing glasses, blue jeans, a blue polo shirt and white tennis shoes. A surveillance photo also shows a receding hairline. Officers say the robber passed a note to the teller implying he had a weapon, but did not display one. He fled the scene eastward toward Farm and Fleet in a dark colored Chevrolet Equinox. Authorities are not disclosing the amount of cash taken.
