The McLean County Coroner has confirmed the death of a homeless man under the Main Street overpass near downtown is from blunt force trauma. Police in Bloomington are looking into the apparent beating death of 48 year old Robert Jeronimus. Forensic toxicology tests have also been ordered. Officers say a city worker found the man under the Main Street overpass near downtown early Thursday morning. Police say Jeronimus was a homeless person known to frequent the Bloomington area. Coroner Beth Kimmerling says Jeronimus's family says he has lived in the twin cities area for about twenty years.
