Cops take down alleged cocaine trafficking network in Bloomington-Normal Local law enforcement agencies are noting the arrest of two Bloomington brothers for alleged crack cocaine offences. The arrests are the result of a cooperative investigation known as "Operation Blue Bulldog," which led to the booking of 13 other McLean county residents. Top Federal Prosecutor for Central Illinois Jim Lewis says in light of these arrests, the community needs to work with law enforcement agencies to make sure this type of trafficking doesn't re-appear.

"Take advantage of the fact that these 15 people are going to be out of town, and out of town for a significant period of time."

Lewis says "Operation Blue Bulldog" began tracking the Sullivan brothers in 2001, including numerous drug purchases, surveillance and information from various sources. Police say they are still searching for 3 suspects.
