Advocate BroMenn adds 3 EV charging stations
Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center has installed three electric vehicle charging stations. The EV chargers are located on the second level of the parking deck on Franklin Avenue in Normal. Dwight Hill, the hospital's facilities director, says BroMenn is the first in the Advocate system to have charging stations. The three stations are among ten the Town of Normal secured for the community with a Department of Energy grant. The charging stations are available 24 hours 7 days a week and are free. Hill says a typical charge takes 4 hours but anyone is welcome to "top off" while their EV is parked at BroMenn.
