A motor vehicle spun through the air and slammed into a house after a two vehicle crash this morning at Towanda Avenue and Dillon Drive in Normal. The fuel tank on one of the vehicles ruptured and two people were trapped in an upside down vehicle for about twenty minutes. The other vehicle careened into a telephone pole. Firefighters washed down the area with foam to prevent flames. Three people went to the hospital for treatment. Firefighters say the house sustained significant structural damage. Residents of the home were inside during the crash but did not receive injuries.
