Firefighters in Normal rotated duties while combating a blaze at the Dairy Queen restaurant on east College. The blaze began on a grill and spread to the ceiling via an air vent. Bloomington firefighters were called to help because of the extreme heat. There were a couple of employees and some customers in the restaurant at the time of the blaze. The extent of the damage is not known.
