Peoria's District 150 sold the aging Harrison School building for ten bucks, with the understanding the building's new owner, a local salvage operator, would demolish the decaying structure. Now nearby residents are having doubts the building will fall to the wrecking ball. Peoria city Councilman Clyde Gulley says he's talked with owner Larry Terrell, who now says he has no plans to tear down the 111 year old schoolhouse. The treasurer for the school district says technically it's no longer responsible for the building.
