Buses may soon be rolling in and out of the UpTown Center, the newly built transit hub in central Normal. The town council has reached agreement with two bus lines, and the Bloomington Normal Public Transit system clearing the way for the coaches to dock at the center. Peoria Charter and Burlington Stagelines will each pay $270 a month to use the facility. That's on top of a $375 monthly ticket fee. The two charter bus lines will have 13 buses a day stopping at the center. The transit center will also accommodate a half-dozen city buses simultaneously.
