Bloomington Police are investigating a pair of shootings less than 24 hours and a couple of blocks apart. Yesterday a man was shot in shoulder and head. Police say the shooting resulted in non-life threatening injuries. The latest shooting was near Allin and Washington Streets. On Tuesday a 19 year old man was hit with two bullets in the 600 block of West Mulberry. No one has been arrested in those incidents. Police have had to deal with five incidents of gunplay in the same area since April. That follows a string of shots fired on South Main near Wood Street weeks earlier.
