District 87 in Bloomington is looking for a new School Board member. Millicent Roth recently resigned because she has a new State Farm position in Charlottesville, Virginia. Roth has been on the District 87 Board for nine years. Her term will be up in April of next year. The District says people interested in serving should send a letter of interest, resume and an overview of why they believe they can be effective by July 9th. A new member will be seated at the August 8th board meeting after interviews of qualified applicants.
