Peoria school superintendent Granita Lathan is being awarded new four-year contract. The deal was approved without dissent by the board, and includes a 2.5% pay raise, bringing the District 150 leader's annual salary to $203,000. The vote, along with another giving Lathan a $5,000 performance bonus, are a show of support for the Superintendent as she institutes controversial new accountability standards.
