A 73 year old Roanoke woman's been arrested and charged with stealing over $100,000 from her former employee, the Roanoke-Benson school district. Katherine Capponi had most recently worked as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant for the district. She was taken into custody last night, about 24 hours after the school board met in special session to discuss the missing money. The apparent theft came to light early this year, a month after Capponi retired, ending her 42 year career with the school.
