OSF Healthcare has its named its first-ever Chief Medical and Clinical Officer. Kathleen Forbes will begin her duties immediately and will report to OSF's CEO. The Peoria-based healthcare provider includes OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria as well as OSF St. Joseph's in Bloomington. Forbes will lead all clinically-related programming in the system and manage medical operations. She comes to central Illinois from the University of North Texas in Ft. Worth, where she served as Executive Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Business Development at the UNT Health Science Center. She's also worked at a large health system in Cincinnati.
