ISU Trustees will consider a 4.4% tuition hike when they meet on Friday. That's less than it has been in recent years according to University spokesman Jay Groves.
The total annual cost of attending ISU, living in the dorms, and eating on campus would rise to $21,679. That's an increase of less than $800. Groves says many public campuses are pulling back from higher tuition increases this year as affordability becomes more of an issue.
Room and Board and fees would also rise 3% under the plan.
