Dark matter is all around us, but we cannot see it. The observations that led to its discovery happened in the 1930s. However, it was generally treated as an observational error until the '70s. Since then, scientists have placed a greater emphasis on trying to unlock its mysteries. IPR's Rich Egger talks with one of those researchers, Matthew Walker, who grew up in west central Illinois.
