An Arkansas woman who pleaded guilty to calling in a bomb threat to a cruise ship when she was visiting her daughter in Bloomington last year has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison. 47-year-old Patricia Elkins called in the threat to Carnival Cruise Lines, telling the operator there was a bomb on a ship headed to Mexico. No bomb was found but police determined where Elkins made the call. Elkins initially denied making the call but later admitted she'd done so, explaining that she was angry at a man she was living with who went on the cruise without her.
