Illinois State is in the market for a new head men's basketball coach. Tim Jankovich confirmed he's leaving ISU after five seasons to become Associate Coach-Head coach-in-waiting at Southern Methodist University. Jankovich will serve under new Mustang's head coach Larry Brown and will assume reigns of the program when the 71-year old Brown decides to retire. Brown was named SMU coach last week. Jankovich spent five seasons at Illinois State and compiled a 104-64 record. The Redbirds lost the Missouri Valley Conference tournament championship game in overtime last month and finished the season 21-14.
