Jaggi wins IWU teaching honor

Jaggi wins IWU teaching honor Illinois Wesleyan University Physics Professor Narendra Jaggi has won IWU's highest teaching honor. The Kemp teaching award for teaching excellence goes to Jaggi who has authored 37 papers in Physics and Sociology journals. He is also the Chair of the Physics Department and active in university governance. He came to IWU in 1991 after stints at The University of Bombay, Northwestern University, and Northeastern University. Jaggi says he believes that genuine affection and enthusiasm for learning can be infectious. He says he believes students can learn from each other and he from them. He also participates in the Not in Our Town movement.
