Drug investigators have made two more arrests in a lengthy investigation into methamphetamine production in central Illinois. 54-year old Betty Followell and 21 year old Timothy Followell, both of Clinton face meth making conspiracy and procurement of ingredients charges. Those are Class X felonies that carry a sentence of up to 30 years in prison with a conviction. State Police say another suspect from Clinton, 45-year old Kenneth Scheid, remains at large and troopers are seeking tips on his whereabouts. The latest arrests bring to ten the number of people taken into custody in the investigation into meth production in DeWitt and Logan Counties since Mid March.
