David Gill, the apparent winner of the Democratic Primary in the 13th Congressional district, is responding to reports long time congressman Tim Johnson will announce his retirement today by calling the career politician, "The poster child for all the problems with incumbency and hypocrisy in Congress." The statement from Gill's campaign goes on to blast the Republican, saying he knew his votes for Ryan budgets that gut Medicare, and cut taxes even more for the wealthiest Americans wouldn't sit well with central Illinois constituents.
