A report from a watchdog group says a Peoria area congressman's campaign committee reimbursed him for stays at a hotel in Greece and a luxury resort in Miami. The group says Congressman Aaron Schock's campaign committee paid him more than $100,000 for such expenses during the 2010 election. The report was released by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics. The group says 248 of 435 House members used campaign funds to benefit themselves and family members. And Executive Director Melanie Sloan says ``what Aaron Schock did crossed the line.'' Schock's chief of staff says the Greece hotel reimbursement was a mistake and that the Peoria Republican has repaid the campaign. The spokesman says other expenses in the report are legitimate campaign spending.
