A four month methamphetamine investigation has resulted in eight arrests in DeWitt and Logan Counties. State Police Sergeant Anthony Kestner says Logan County, Lincoln, and Clinton Police worked together with state troopers to tackle what they term a recurring Meth production problem in central Illinois. Six people face serious Class X felony drug conspiracy charges. 34-year old Bryan Burton, 48-year old Susan Wrobel, 37-year old Paul Nixon, and 53-year old John Plotke....all of Clinton are being held on $80,000 bond. 26-year old Kristopher Coy and 26-year old Christina Poole, both of Lincoln are also being held on that amount of bail. A Class X felony conviction could carry a sentence of up to 30 years in prison. Two other people face lesser drug charges.
