Normal council will hear complaints about firing of Children's Discovery Museum director

Citizens with questions about the abrupt departure of Shari Buckellew as head of the Children's Discovery Museum will be heard by the Normal Town Council after all. A previous attempt by a loosely organized group opposed to Buckellew's firing to address the town council, had been rebuffed by the council. Now Mayor Chris Koos says councilmembers will hold a special meeting after Monday's regular meeting to hear their views. Buckellew was removed Friday as director of the museum she founded.
