The sole major road project this year in Bloomington will be finishing a stretch of Morris Avenue from Parkhill Cemetery to just south of Forest Park. The project will cost about $1.4 Million, which will come from gas taxes. Also at last night's council meeting, changes to the twin city bus system board were approved, taking city managers off the board. The subsidy formula for the buses was also tweaked and will now be based on population. Property values and sales tax money had been considered.
