FAQ on Supporting GLT

When will I receive my subscriptions and/or thank you gifts?

We will establish or renew your subscriptions to the GLT Guide as soon as we receive payment on your pledge. If you were offered a thank you gift when you pledged, we will ship as soon as we receive payment on your pledge. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

Can I contribute using a credit card?

We accept Mastercard, Discover and Visa. Please select this payment method for one time payments only.

Can I pay by check or money order?

If you chose to be billed, please send your payment when you receive your invoice. Your membership materials will be mailed to you as soon as we receive payment on your pledge.

What is the GLT Installment Plan?

Many contributors elect to spread their commitment over their membership year. You can do the same. Just indicate the monthly, quarterly or semi annual schedule you prefer. Handling costs dictate installments are a minimum of $5.00 a month. This payment option is NOT available for credit card payments.

Can I use Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) to contribute?

Yes. EFT allows you to authorize your financial institution to issue automatic monthly payments on your GLT pledge. If you request this option, you will receive an authorization form in a few days. Your membership materials will be mailed as soon as we receive your EFT authorization form.

What are Employer Matching Gifts?

Hundreds of community minded employers operating in central Illinois match their employees' gifts to GLT. Contact membership services or call 309-438-3581 to learn if your employer is among them. Your employer's matching gift could easily double or even triple the value of your contribution.

I work at Illinois State University. Can I use ISU’s Pay Roll Deduction Plan?

ISU faculty and staff can choose to use payroll deduction to honor their pledge. If you select this option you will receive a form from the ISU Foundation. Just fill it out and send it back to the Foundation. Once it has been received by the Foundation we will establish or renew your membership in GLT. Questions on payroll deduction?
