The Reverend Jesse Jackson says it is a crisis that leaked emails show the Democratic National Committee may have favored Hillary Clinton.

But Jackson told reporters at the party convention that Democrats will move past it.

Jackson said he isn’t surprised to see that the DNC isn’t completely neutral, given his own experience running for president in the 80s.

"That, that was true when I was running but we survived it, and to think that while we must make sure the process is more transparent, is not a big enough issue to distract us from the issue of Hillary vs Trump come November the 8th," said Jackson.

Jackson spoke to the Illinois delegation in Philadelphia.
