Illinois State basketball fans who traveled to St. Louis for the Missouri Valley Conference tournament gathered for a pregame rally before Friday night's late tip-off against Indiana State.
Fans gathered at the Budweiser Brew House in St. Louis to prepare to cheer on the Redbirds at their 8:30 p.m. game against the Sycamores. Alumni, students, and even Illinois State President Dietz showed up to eat and get excited for the game.
Reggie Redbird led the Illinois State cheerleaders, marching band and dance team into the Brew House to rally the fans. Dietz spoke a few words of encouragement to the fans and team.
Fans then could watch the game from the Budweiser Brew House or head across town and watch the game live at the Scottrade Center.
