Three Bloomington Police officers suffered minor injuries while trying to arrest a suspect overnight.
The incident happened just after midnight near Oakland Avenue and Evans Street, just southeast of downtown Bloomington. Police made contact with a 22-year-old walking in the area. Police said he fought with officers after they moved to arrest him. The man had a gun but no shots were fired, police said. He was arrested pending formal charges.
The officers were treated and released with minor injuries, police said.
