Man Allegedly Used Faith-Based Groups To Molest Children

Police in Normal and Bloomington are looking for a man they believe has committed child sexual abuse. 24-year old Deondre A. Watts is believe to have left the state for now. Watts is wanted on warrants for eight counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of minors. There are active cases in both of the twin cities.

Police in Normal say they believe Watts made his way into faith based groups in town, made friends, and then exploited children.

Based on current information, detectives say they believe there could be additional alleged victims in McLean County. 

Police ask citizens to report any information about his whereabouts or about past interactions with Deondre Watts.
