IWU Provost Accepts Presidency At Pennsylvania Institution

Illinois Wesleyan University

Illinois Wesleyan University is losing its Provost.

Jonathan Green is taking the Presidency at Susquehanna University.

That's a private liberal arts institution in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

IWU President Eric Jensen says Susquehanna will benefit from Green's good-natured intelligence and from his insightful grasp of the liberal arts and their importance in the modern world.

Green will stay at Illinois Wesleyan University through mid summer. He has been in Bloomington for five years.

Green said he is proud of progress made in assessment, grants expansion, international programs, the implementation of lacrosse, the development of new academic initiatives such as the Design, Technology, and Entrepreneurship major, and expansion of the School of Nursing.
