Police Advisory Board Approved

The Bloomington City Council approved the months-long debated measure 8-1 on Monday. One alderman had concerns about the new board’s purpose and how its members would be selected.

Benches 'Connect Transit' Riders, West Side Residents

Volunteers from the West Bloomington Revitalization Project are placing two-dozen benches at bus stops on the city’s west side along Market and Washington Streets. The benches are more than a place to sit, according to organization board member Robert Basquez.
