Children learn poorly when stressed or traumatized. And that has consequences far beyond their school years. The head of the Unit Five Teachers Union talks about adverse childhood experiences or aces. Earlier this week, Bloomington attorney Amy McFarland was named associate judge in the 11th Judicial District, which includes McLean County. McFarland specializes in custody and child support cases. She has been highly involved in the circuit's family court mediation program. Hear from McFarland.  Plus, the Celtic and Americana sounds of Switchback will be on display Sunday as the music duo returns to Bloomington Normal for a St. Patrick's Day-themed performance at the BCPA.
