The first-ever Healthy Pet Expocombines useful, hands-on information with goofy fun.
- The expo takes place Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is hosted by the Humane Society of Central Illinois,along with partner C&G Pet Sitting.
- The expo features pet massages, a pet/owner lookalike contest, pet costume contest, pet talent contest, aromatherapy and more.
- The Normal Police K-9 Unit will be there doing demonstrations.
- Over 20 vendors will offer merchandise and provide demonstrations.
- This is also a great time to meet the animals up for adoption at the Humane Society.
- Well-socialized pets are welcome at the event and must be on a fixed leash. All participating pets must have their owner sign a waiver before admittance.
