The Bloomington City Council will receive the FY 2016 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report tonight.
Baker Tilly LLC were awarded the audit contract by Bloomington last year.
Staff say the audit was delayed due to the transition of management companies at the Coliseum.
The auditors were unable to obtain sufficient evidence to provide a basis for an opinion of the Coliseum's fund, which is a major enterprise within the city's CAFR.
The council will also see a presentation of the fire department's annual report. Fire Chief Brian Mohr will provide data on the number of emergency calls, performance measures, and response times.
Mohr will discuss the need for a new station on Bloomington's northeast side. Mohr will also discuss the possibility of a second Medic Unit in service at headquarters to address the high call volumes on the northwestern side of the city.
