McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis has identified the Chenoa woman who was killed in a crash Friday night on Interstate 55.

In a news release, Davis said Kaitlyn Erdman, 25, died from head injuries when the car she was driving collided head on with a semi tractor-trailer at about 6:30 p.m. on southbound I-55 near Lexington, at mile marker 177.

Davis said Erdman's infant daughter was in the car at the time of the crash. She was treated and released at a local hospital. Davis said the driver was wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation by the coroner's office and Illinois State Police.
