A 49-year-old Bloomington man was convicted in McLean County Circuit Court of six counts of sexual assault involving a girl under the age of 13.
Christopher Hinthorn will be sentenced on August 12th, and faces between 18 and 180 years in prison.
Assistant State's Attorney Adam Ghrist said the case against Hinthorn began with a tip to the Department of Children and Family Service hotline in November 2014. The abuse occurred over a seven-year period.
