September 6, 2015 "Something More Than Free" is the latest collection of original songs from Jason Isbell, who plays a sold-out show at The Castle next month. We'll also preview this year's performers at Ellnora, including Jessica Lea Mayfield, Punch Brothers and Valerie June.

September 13, 2015 It's new music from Asheville duo Mandolin Orange, whose most recent CD is "Such Jubilee." Plus an interview with singer Rhiannon Giddens, coming to The Castle on September 18.

September 20, 2015  The young Canadian neo-traditionalist Old Man Luedecke enlists multi-instrumentalist Tim O'Brien for his songs of whimsey and wisdom, collected on "Domestic Eccentric." 

September 27, 2015 A conversation with central Illinois native Andrea Zonn about her new solo CD, "Rise." She's the fiddler and harmony vocalist in the James Taylor band, and enlists JT, Keb Mo and Trace Adkins on her sophomore release. Plus new music by songwriter Ana Egge with the Stray Birds.
