Acousticity brings you bluegrass, singer/songwriter, Celtic and other roots musics. It's the whole spectrum of acoustic music from Doc Watson to the Duhks, from the Stanley Brothers to the Avett Brothers. It's "flexible folk" and it's only on GLT.

Local folk group Stone & Snow stopped into the GLT Studio to perform their original tunes "Thief" and "Cease-Fire." Stone & Snow is made up of Karen Bridges (vocals and ukulele), Clint Thomson (vocals, guitar, mandolin and harmonica), Connor Brennan (vocals and keys) and Elia Zimmerman (vocals and violin).  Visit our YouTube channel for more in-studio performances.

May 5, 2013 Two recently issued CDs celebrate women and the guitar - Lauren Sheehan's "The Light Still Burns" explores the repertoire for instruments made by female factory workers in Kalamazoo during WWII, and Lena Hughes' "Queen of the Flat Top" spotlights her unique fingerpicking style. 

May 12, 2013 A new release from Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent spotlights their high-octane vocal blend; it's called "Brothers of the Highway."

May 19, 2013  Two unique talents, banjoist Steve Martin and vocalist Edie Brickell,  combine for a surprising and delightful new collection called "Love Has Come For You." 

May 26, 2013 Willie Nelson recently celebrated his 80th birthday by releasing another fine recording, ""Let's Face the Music and Dance."
