So you can't live without a copy of something you heard on GLT?
NPR offers transcripts of most shows, stories and episodes. Archived audio is also available from NPR and GLT. You can also subscribe for free to NPR and GLT Podcasts. Podcasts often feature stories and interviews you may have missed or exclusive web-only audio.
Fresh Air offers transcripts and CD's at (877) 213-7374.
This American Life also offers CD copies, but no transcripts.
American Routes does not offer copies of its shows. It's not feasible because of the amount of copyrighted material in each broadcast.
Likewise, GLT cannot make copies of its music programming. However CD copies of most stories, features and interviews produced by the GLT newsroom are available for $15.00 per CD. Please let News Director Willis Kern know when you heard the story and describe the subject matter. Also include your name, mailing address and phone number. Copies will be mailed when your check or money order payable to WGLT is received.
