Dear GLT Community Calendar Partners, As providers of local arts, entertainment, education and community events, GLT considers you a partner in our public service mission. This is why we want you to know about an exciting upgrade to our online community calendar.
Effective March 1, 2017, we have launched a brand new Community Calendar. Now users can search for events by category, date and even by key word. Users will automatically see a map to an event venue location. If you like, you can even upload images to display in your event listing!
Here’s how the new process works: you enter all the information required for your event into a simple online form and submit the information to GLT. GLT will check pending event listings regularly and approve submitted events as appropriate. Once events are approved they will appear in the GLT Community Calendar.
Here are some important tips for submitting your event information:
- Please fill out all the required forms, identified by a red asterisk
- Please use the drop down menus for venues (a “venue” is the location of your event) and for event categories. You may select up to three categories for your event.
- Double check your information for accuracy.
- If you do not have information for optional fields, please leave the field blank.
