What to Bring: Lawn chairs or picnic blanket
Rain/Heat Policy: In the case of rain or excessive heat, the performance will be held in ISU's Center for Performing Arts Theater. The decision to relocate our performance will be made no later than 2:00pm by the Illinois Shakespeare Festival management. Check back here prior to heading to Ewing Manor for the latest update on event location.
The Illinois Shakespeare Festival has a national reputation for excellence and innovation. Enjoy a picnic dinner from the Garlic Press Market Cafe under the tall trees of Ewing Manor's front lawn. You'll be entertained by the troupe of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival during dinner with several funny and interactive green shows. Wrap up your meal with a luscious cup of ice cream from Carl's Ice Cream.
Your ticket includes the whole package with reserved seats in the outdoor theater. Feel free to bring a bottle of your favorite wine or toss a couple of beers into the cooler. Bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, a bunch of your best buddies, and make an evening of it. Dress for the weather and be comfortable!
When you order your tickets, you'll be asked to choose a meat or veggie meal. (Please note: we cannot guarantee a meal for ticket orders placed after Wednesday, July 31st. Contact the ISF box office at 309-438-2535 for ticket availability.)

Meat meal: Boar's Head Rotisserie Roasted Chicken Breast with Havarti cheese and Garden Herb mayo with lettuce, tomato, and onion on multi-grain bread
Veggie meal: Southern Style Cheese and Pepper spread with Boar's Head Sharp Cheddar and sweet Peppadew peppers with fresh arugula and red onion on sourdough bread
Sides for both: Fresh Basil, Sweet Corn, and Tomato pasta salad with Balsamic dressing, Summer Harvest Fruit Salad, Vegetable Chips, Cherry-Chocolate Bomb cookies
