WGLT offers opportunities for both full time and student employment, as well as unpaid internships. All full time positions are employees of Illinois State University, an equal opportunity employer encouraging diversity. Positions are advertised on the Illinois State University website and in national as well as local publications.
Student employment at WGLT includes positions in broadcast journalism, on air announcing, and clerical areas. Applicants must be registered for at least 6 hours of Illinois State University courses, and must be pursuing a full time degree. Application may be made in person at the WGLT studios (310 Old Union Building) during business hours, 9:00am - 5:00pm M-F.
Internships for course credit may originate in any ISU department, and require that the student be enrolled for an internship course. Internships are available in these areas:
